The seminar was dedicated to the analysis of the situation for syndicated loan and bond borrowers. Along with the orzanizers representatives of legal and financial consultancies, such as Rothschild, Alvarez & Marsal, GPW and others, shared their opinions on a number of issues related to restructuring and bankruptcy in Russia and the CIS countries. 

The first part of the seminar was dedicated to ‘peaceful’ restructuring by mutual consent of all parties, while the second part looked at the harder approach to restructuring, which implies the use of various litigation procedures and other enforcement mechanisms.

In the report dedicated to cross-border bankruptcies in Russia, Mr. Vaneev shared with the audience the theoretical and practical aspects of the issue.
