BGP Litigation opens M&A practice and welcomes new partner

BGP Litigation is happy to announce that Tatyana Neveeva, a recognised M&A and dispute resolution expert, joins the firm as Partner effective 1 February 2022. Tatyana has over 15 years of experience working at leading international and Russian law firms. Prior to joining BGP Litigation she held the position of Counsel and Co-Head of the International Arbitration Group at Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners. 

Tatyana Neveeva has extensive experience of representing Russian and international clients before state courts and international arbitral tribunals, including under the rules of the ICAC at the Russian CCI, ICC, SCC, and LCIA. She specialises in the resolution of corporate conflicts and disputes arising out of construction of large infrastructure objects, as well as projects that require coordination of arbitral and state court proceedings in several jurisdictions at once.

Tatyana also has significant experience in supporting M&A projects. More than a hundred deals under both Russian and foreign law have been successfully closed under her direct supervision since 2007. These included large investment projects in the areas of construction and modernisation of infrastructure and manufacturing facilities. Among Tatyana’s clients are leading energy companies, industrial and oil and gas enterprises, construction and logistics companies, as well as large FMCG companies and major retailers.

Tatyana has been listed in prestigious professional rankings Legal500, Best Lawyers, and Kommersant. She is a member of the International and Investment Disputes Panel of the Arbitration Centre of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, is on the list of RUIE's recommended arbitrators and the experts in the field of real estate and construction of the Russian Arbitration Center. She is featured in Russian Arbitrators Guide: Next Generation, published in 2021.

Tatyana is a graduate of the Kutafin Moscow State Law University and holds LL.M. degrees from the Manchester University (2005) and the University of Durham (2007). She has co-authored several law books released by Thomson West and CMP Publishing International Law and Policy, as well as dozens of publications on corporate law and corporate disputes in Russian legal press.
