BGP Litigation defended the interests of a Chinese equipment manufacturer

BGP Litigation's customs law and international trade practice team defended the interests of the Russian office of Fambition, a Chinese manufacturer of mining and construction equipment, in the Moscow Arbitration Court (judgment in case No. A40-128921/2023).

Customs considered the import prices for mining loaders to be understated and increased import customs duties.

BGP Litigation lawyers collected a large volume of documents confirming the client's legal position. They were able to convince the court to overturn the customs fiscal requirements and prove the market level of import prices.

This victory allows the client to reduce customs costs and maintain its advantages on the Russian market.

The project is led by lawyers from BGP Litigation's Customs Law and International Trade practice - Practice Head, Counsel Alexander Kirilchenko and Associate Polina Panova.
