BGP Litigation is pleased to announce the opening of its Employment Law practice. On 11 March 2022, Anna Ivanova, a recognised expert in the field, will join the firm’s Partners. Before becoming part of the BGP Litigation team, Anna was the head of the labour law practices at Egorov, Puginsky, Afanasiev & Partners and Linklaters International Law Firm. Together with Anna, BGP Litigation will be joined by Senior Associate with the Employment Law practice, Maria Salikova.
Anna Ivanova specialises in labour law projects, labour protection, handling individual and collective labour disputes, development of incentive programmes for top managers, and complex issues of migration law. She has extensive experience of resolving conflicts out of court and negotiating complex layoffs, transfers and changes in working terms and conditions due to reorganization. Her clients include leading companies in the automotive, tobacco and alcohol industries, as well as international IT companies and major Russian banks.
Anna is an active member of a working group under the State Duma Committee on Labour, Social Policy and Veterans’ Affairs. She has directly participated in drafting the bill on remote work and the bill on electronic HR document management.
Anna graduated with honours from the Law Department of the North-Western Academy of Public Administration and the HR MBA programme at the Moscow International Higher Business School. She is a regular speaker at professional conferences on HR issues and the author of numerous articles in business and professional publications. For more than 10 years, she has been a member of the expert council of the Labour Disputes magazine. She is recommended by Chambers Europe, Legal500, Best Lawyers, Kommersant and Pravo-300 rankings.
