Ruslan Petruchak Appointed Counsel of the Dispute Resolution and Bankruptcy Practice

BGP Litigation is pleased to welcome Ruslan Petruchak as a new Counsel with our Dispute Resolution and Bankruptcy team. “The Dispute Resolution and Bankruptcy practice, which Ruslan is joining today, has been one of the key drivers of the Firm’s development from its first days. Complex and multi-faceted dispute resolution and bankruptcy projects require a team of considerable size and experience. Ruslan has worked in dispute resolution before commercial courts and courts of general jurisdiction on matters related to real estate and construction, as well as financial and automotive industries, for over a decade. He specialises in civil, administrative, corporate, and bankruptcy law. He advises both creditors and debtors on developing strategies for conducting bankruptcy cases. His professional competence includes representing major Russian and foreign clients in multidimensional proceedings, including corporate disputes, cross-border commercial disputes, and disputes with state authorities, as well as representing clients in enforcement proceedings.

Before joining BGP Litigation, Ruslan was a judge.

Ruslan also engages in academic research – he holds a Candidate of Legal Sciences (PhD in Law) degree, teaches at leading universities, and has authored a number of monographs and articles.
