Gaiane specialises in local and international cross-border family law cases and is extensively experienced in resolving complex family conflicts with a foreign element. She assists in getting foreign court judgements enforced in Russia. Gaiane has unique experience in handling matters involving international parental child abduction and child access rights under the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. Also Gaiane’s expertise encompasses divorces, nuptial agreements, estate planning, and successions. Gaiane is the founder of the project "Children Have the Right to Stay Within the Legal Framework" in which lawyers help return children who have illegally been taken over the border by one of their parents. Under the project she actively involved in researching problems in the application of the Convention in various jurisdictions and I make presentation at public conferences and education events. She collaborate with the leading educational establishments and teach advanced professional development courses for attorneys. She is a professional mediator and has completed a professional course at the Russian Academy for Advocates and Notaries (RAAN). Gaiane is a certified tutor under the Council of Europe Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals (HELP). A member of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL). Gaiane builds and manages international legal teams, develops and implements comprehensive strategies, and manages conflicts at all stages, from prevention to resolution and enforcement.
