Gayane specialises in cross-border family law disputes and is extensively experienced in resolving complex family conflicts with a foreign element. She assists in getting foreign court judgements enforced in Russia. Gayane has unique experience in handling matters involving international parental child abduction and child access rights under the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. Gayane is the founder of the project "Children Have the Right to Stay Within the Legal Framework" in which lawyers help return children who have illegally been taken over the border by one of their parents. Gayane holds a graduate degree (magna cum laude) from the law school of Nizhny Novgorod State University. She is a professional mediator and has completed a professional course at the Russian Academy for Advocates and Notaries (RAAN). Gayane is a certified tutor under the Council of Europe Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals (HELP) Programme. Gayane works closely with the nation's leading higher education institutions and delivers advanced training for attorneys (advocates) as organised by the Russian Federal Bar Association. Gayane's expertise also covers arbitrazh (state commercial) proceedings. She is a member of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL).
